A MOM

A MOM is wonderful.  A mom loves.  A mom cares for others.  A mom cares for herself.  A mom prays.  A mom cuddles.  A mom tickles.  A mom smiles.  A mom LAUGHS.  A mom sings without thought of her voice, because her own little audience loves it.  A mom changes diaper after diaper.  A mom does laundry and thinks about how tiny her child is.  A mom potty trains.  A mom does more laundry and thinks about how much her child has grown.  A mom makes her child’s favorite food.  A mom makes new foods just so the child learns to try new things.  A mom encourages.  A mom LOVES more.  A mom comforts.  A mom prays more.  A mom disciplines, because she cares.  A mom is HONEST.  A mom answers question after question and then asks the child the question, just to see what the answer will be.   A mom is PATIENT A mom apologizes when she loses her patience.  A mom will do anything to help her children grow to be the best they can be.  A mom does not do everything for her children, but teaches them to do for themselves.  A mom is GENTLE. A mom will teach her children right from wrong.  A mom teaches by example.  A mom cleans up mess after mess.  A mom teaches her children how to clean up their own messes.   A mom does even more laundry.  A mom still loves her kids.  A mom loves herself.  A mom shows her children how to love themselves.  A mom listens.  A mom talks.  A mom PRAYS.   A mom gives her time to her children.  A mom takes care of herself so she is her best for her family.  A mom says no over and over, because she cares.  A mom disciplines.  A mom rewards.  A Mom is  CONSISTENT.  A mom goes the extra mile, when she doesn’t feel like it.   A mom does more laundry.  A mom teaches her children to share.  A mom teaches her children to take care of their things.  A mom shows how to respect others.  A mom shows how to demand respect from others.  A mom shows her children how to make friends.  A mom shows how to be a friend.  A mom prays even more.  A mom teaches her child to pray.  A mom encourages her children to try new things and encourages them to do their best.  A mom cheers when her child wins.  A mom cheers when her child looses.  A mom does even more laundry and wonders where the time has gone.  A mom does her best.  A mom loves her children, even when she does not like what they do.  A mom FORGIVES.  A mom chooses her reactions and doesn’t let them choose her.  A Mom gets angry.  A Mom forgives herself.  A mom knows what’s best for her child.  A mom also knows how to admit when she is wrong.  A mom helps, but does not enable.  A mom teaches her children to be independent.  A mom wishes her children weren’t so independent.  A mom prays.  A mom shows integrity in all that she does, because her children are watching.  A Mom makes mistakes and forgives herself again.  A mom is not afraid to ask for help.  A mom spends time with her kids.  A mom spends time away from her kids.  A mom loves her children completely.  A mom teaches her child how to love.  A mom does more laundry.  A mom teaches her child to do laundry.  A mom drives her kids everywhere.  A mom teaches her child how to drive.  A mom prays.  A mom waits up for her child.  A mom worries. A mom prays some more.  A mom LISTENS.  A mom is responsible.  A mom teaches her child responsibility.  A mom demonstrates character, while her child is a character.   A mom does what is right.  A mom teaches her child to do what is right.  A mom ENCOURAGES.  A mom  cares.  A mom hugs.  A mom holds.  A mom listens more.  A mom cries.  A Mom loses it with her kids, forgives them, forgives herself again and goes on.

A mom loves unconditionally and forever.
