Real Mom’s Life

I’m raising 5 kids in a real house

Where the kids are not all quiet as a mouse.

and we really are just driving around

‘Cause there is so much stuff to do.

We sometimes feel real broke

We are not always telling jokes.

We sometimes yell, not just whisper

We don’t always get along.

We have two parents and lots of kids

I’m not talking about perfection

We got real kids

We have real lows, we have real highs

It isn’t all good always, but it’s all right.

We have a breakfast bar

With a real kids, they talk too loud

and they can be proud.

But they get real bored, and all complain

and sometimes we are late.

Hit McDonald’s for some “real food”,

instead of making dinner…it’s real good.

Work is busy, kids are too, and we do the best we can.
